This website is trying to make it easy to find the bike-only trails in Indiana. We are pulling together all of the resources we could find to help you plan your fun 2024 Indiana Biking Trips.
Consider turning a bike trip into a getaway….travel somewhere in Indiana and explore the Biking for a few days. Sounds like a fun vacation to me.

Indiana has been building out these trails with lots of funding. In 2024 why not explore some trails you haven’t been on.
Consider putting a biking event on your calendar. There are a lot of fun rides scheduled for 2024.
Even if you live far away, you should consider coming to Indianapolis on the Second Friday of each month for Bike Party. This is perfect for anybody that likes to have a good time and doesn’t mind staying out late. Book a room in Downtown Indy and get away.
Indiana has a lot of dedicated bike trails - ones that aren’t simply bike lanes on a busy road, but separate trails. Trails that are separated from motorists, so you would feel comfortable taking your child. More are getting built all the time, but it can be difficult to figure out where these trails are. There are a lot of resources on the web, some pretty good, but nothing is perfect. We didn’t want to pay $10 a month for any of them, and pieces were missing with the free tools.
So, we built this site in 2024 to try to help us plan bicycling trips in Indiana. We love to bike ourselves. We decided to put our notes on www.IndianaBiking.com to try to figure out what resources were available and what was possible. We figured out how to build our own map of dedicated bike trails to see if that makes things easier in 2024 trip and event planning.
This is not a normal website, it is more like a set of notes that somebody is working on. It got turned into a website because we thought that maybe it would be helpful for other people that like to bike in Indiana.
