Bike Indianapolis
Their mission is to get more people riding bicycles in central Indiana through advocacy, education, and rides. They also have a nice calendar of rides in the greater Indianapolis area.

Bike Party Indy - you need to consult their Facebook page for where the event starts.
This Event happens on the second Friday of each month. It is a really fun ride that goes from 7 PM to Midnight. If you live far from Indy then you should definitely attend and get a room downtown.

Indiana Bicycling Clubs

These groups are great for helping people to find a local cycling community, plus area bike rides and events. Many focus on advocacy and education as well. Note: Rides offered by these clubs include trail rides, road biking, and mountain biking.

Adams County Bicycle Club
Decatur - Their main focus appears to be an annual 50- or 30-mile organized bike ride.

Bike Elkhart County (BEC)
Elkhart - This is a grassroots bicycling advocacy group “working toward a safe, friendly, and healthy cycling community for all” in Elkhart County, Indiana. They also have a calendar of events, printed ride guides for Elkhart and Goshen, and a program to provide bicycles to those in need.

Bike Michiana Coalition
South Bend - Their goal is to create healthy connected communities in Michiana by encouraging and promoting safe cycling for recreation and transportation. They focus on advocacy and also have info on area events.

There are many groups that work to advocate for the needs of bicyclists.

Indiana Bicycle Trail Websites

There are websites for many of the individual trails. These are interesting, but we are not including them all at this time because it is hard to keep track of them all for 170+ dedicated bike trails.

Each one of the bike trails is managed by some local government, and sometimes by several. For instance, the Monon Trail goes through multiple counties, so the Monon Trail info is spread amongst multiple websites:
